Convert WebP images to PDF documents online for free.
Why use this
PDF travels everywhere WebP doesn't — the expense system that only accepts JPG/PDF receipts, the older Outlook install that previews JPG inline but downloads WebP as an unknown attachment, the print pipeline that…
Bundling several WebPs into one PDF also gives you pagination and an ordered sequence the original images can't provide. Saved a screenshot bundle from a website? A single multi-page PDF beats a folder of fourteen…
Common use cases: submitting WebP-format receipts your browser saved automatically, archiving a sequence of website screenshots for a UX review, bundling product photos a Shopify export gave you in WebP, and converting…
Native methods
On Mac (macOS Ventura 13+). Open the WebP in Preview, then File → Export as PDF. For multiple WebPs, select them in Finder, right-click → Quick Actions → Create PDF. Both work cleanly.
On Windows 11. Open the WebP in Photos, click Print, choose Microsoft Print to PDF. Multi-image flow requires opening Photos' slideshow view, but it works without third-party software. On Windows 10 with the legacy Photos app, install the WebP codec from the Microsoft Store…
Command-line. With ImageMagick: convert *.webp out.pdf. The -quality 90 flag balances size against fidelity if you need to tune output.
Frequently asked questions
Lossy or lossless WebP — does PDFWix handle both?
Yes. The browser's WebP decoder handles both variants transparently. Lossless WebPs become PDF images with no further degradation; lossy WebPs are embedded as-is without re-encoding.
What about animated WebPs?
PDF cannot embed animation, so PDFWix uses the first frame only. If you need the animation, convert to GIF or MP4 first using a dedicated tool.
How does WebP transparency convert?
Same as PNG — by default, alpha is flattened to white for predictable printing. Toggle 'Preserve transparency' before converting to keep the alpha channel in the PDF (useful for logos overlaid on coloured slides).
