Why pick PNG over JPG?

PNG is lossless and supports transparency. Pick it for line art, screenshots, diagrams or logos where you can't afford JPEG artifacts. For photo-heavy pages, JPG is typically 3–10× smaller with no visible difference.

What DPI options are available?

72 DPI for thumbnails, 150 DPI for screen viewing (the default), and 300 DPI for print. Above 300 DPI you only bloat the file with no visible benefit.

Single-page PDFs return one PNG. Multi-page PDFs come back as a ZIP, with files named in page order so they sort naturally.

My PDF to PNG job is stuck on "processing".

Refresh the page and try again. Browser-side processing depends on your device's CPU and RAM, so closing other tabs usually helps.

The downloaded file looks different from the preview.
