Why use this

Use cases

How it works

  1. Upload your PDF — Click "Select PDF file" or drag the document into the upload box. Thumbnails for every page render in a few seconds so you can pick visually.
  2. Pick the pages to remove — Click thumbnails to mark them for deletion, or type a page range like 3, 7, 12-18 in the range field. Selected thumbnails get a red overlay so it's obvious what's about to go.
  3. Click "Remove pages" — PDFWix rewrites the PDF in your browser, dropping the marked pages and rebuilding the bookmark tree so internal navigation stays intact.
  4. Download the trimmed PDF — Save the cleaned-up file. Your original is never modified — keep it as your master copy in case you need to redo the removal differently.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Remove Pages and Extract Pages?

Remove Pages keeps the whole document and drops the pages you pick. [Extract Pages](/extract-pages) is the opposite — it keeps only the pages you pick and discards everything else. Use Remove for small cuts, Extract when you want a small subset.

Will my bookmarks and internal links still work?

Yes. Bookmarks pointing at removed pages are dropped, and bookmarks for the surviving pages are remapped to their new page positions automatically — no broken navigation.

Can I preview a page before removing it?

Yes — click any thumbnail to open a full-size preview. Always sanity-check before removing pages from a contract or legal document.
