How to post a split image in the right order
Instagram shows the newest post at the top-left of your profile. So for a 3×3 grid, the tile that belongs in the bottom-right must be posted first and the top-left tile last — post tile 9, then 8, down to 1. PDFWix numbers tiles top-left to bottom-right precisely so you can count backwards. For a swipeable carousel panorama the order is the opposite: add tiles 1, 2, 3 left to right in a single carousel post, and the image flows seamlessly as people swipe. Instagram's carousel crops to square, 4:5 or 1.91:1, so a 3×1 panorama works best from a photo about three times as wide as it is tall. Crop it to the right ratio first with Crop Image.

Tips for splitting images
Crop to the right ratio first
A 3×3 grid needs a square source; a 3×1 panorama needs a 3:1 source. Use Crop Image.
Use a big source photo
Each tile is a fraction of the original, so start with the highest resolution you have.
Post the last tile first
On a profile grid, post tile 9 first and tile 1 last.
